What does membership to The Mailbox Gold get me?

A Gold subscription includes unlimited access to over 40,000 classroom resources with new resources added each month, collections for organizing your favorite ideas, a print packet for easy printing, and make & print tools for customizing your classroom. Plus, starting April 1, 2024, unlimited access to all eBooks and ePackets from the store is included with a paid, active membership.

What are collections, and how can I use them?

Collections are groups of ideas/activities that you compile. They’re kind of like folders, except you can visually browse the content you’ve added there and find what you need more quickly. You can also choose to search your collections if you know you saved something.

You can create new collections as you find things you want to keep, or you can create any number of collections in the overview page so they’re ready to go when you start looking for activities. You can rename them whenever you want.

How do I rename or delete a collection?

From your collections home view, you can click the “edit” or “delete” buttons under each collection. Don’t worry—if you hit the delete button by accident, you can easily click the No button and nothing will change.

Can I save something to more than one collection?

Yes. We encourage you to set up collections that are specific enough that most activities and ideas will belong in one place—this is the easiest way to return to what you’ve collected (though you can also search for an item across all of your collections). If you really want to save something in more than one place, you can do that easily by repeating the "add to a collection" process from the content’s toolbar.

How much does The Mailbox Gold cost?

Gold is just $34.95/year. This auto-renews every year so you don’t have to do anything to keep your account current.

Can I cancel any time?

We think you’ll love The Mailbox Gold features, but in case you do want to cancel, we’ve made it easy. When you’re logged in, just go to “Manage Account” and click on “Update Subscriptions” and click on “Update” next to the Gold membership you would like to cancel. Your cancellation is effective at the end of your billing period.

Can I give a Gold membership as a gift?

Yes (and what a thoughtful gift!). Please contact customer service at to order a gift subscription.

Do I have to download anything to use a Gold membership?

All you need is a current web browser (Internet Explorer 9 or higher, Chrome, Safari, and Firefox all work). If you download PDFs, you will need a current version of Adobe Reader (you can download it for free) to look at them after they’re downloaded to your computer.

I want membership to The Mailbox Gold for my school’s library. Can I do that?

Since Gold features are intended for individual planning, we don’t currently offer a Gold membership for entire schools. We do offer The Mailbox Plus which provides access to the content at all of the grade levels. Can I download my saved items?

Yes! Any item can be downloaded by clicking the download icon in the toolbar (an arrow pointing down in a circle).
