Up, Up, and Away
Decorative scrapbook paper is the key to this uplifting art experience! Cut several diamond shapes (kites) from scrapbook paper. Also, cut several lengths of colorful curling-ribbon tails. Glue the kites to a sheet of blue construction paper. Then glue one end of each tail to each kite so that the tails dangle freely. Finally, pull and stretch cotton balls and glue them to the paper so they resemble clouds. |

Fluffy Dandelions
To begin, cut three stems and several leaves from green paper. Glue the cutouts to a 9" x 12" sheet of dark blue construction paper. Next, glue a narrow strip of fringed, green paper to the lower edge of the project so it resembles grass. To make the fluffy dandelion heads, dot a circle of glue at the top of each stem; then pull tiny tufts from a cotton ball and press them in the glue. If desired, glue a few tufts as if they're blowing in the breeze.

Choir on a Wire
To make this picturesque scene, glue two brown rectangles (utility poles) and a length of black yarn (wire) to a sheet of blue construction paper as shown. Color and cut out the bird patterns and glue them above the wire. If desired, complete the scene by drawing or stamping music notes around the birds so it looks like they are singing! |
