Gliding Ghosts
Your students will enjoy making these free-form ghosties. Tear shapes at random from a 9" x 12" sheet of white construction paper. Use a black marker to draw a pair of eyes and a mouth on each shape to make a ghost. Then glue the ghosts to a 12" x 18" sheet of black construction paper. |

Spider Wear
Creepy crawlers will be popping up all over when you make these spider hats. Measure and cut a black tagboard strip to fit around each child's head. Staple the ends of the strip together to make a headband. Have each child cut eight strips of black construction paper and then accordion-fold each strip. Staple four of the strips to one side of the headband and four strips to the other. Now your little ones are ready for spider wear!

Jack-o’-Loops
This group project will result in a festive decoration for a bulletin board. Cut a supply of 3" x 12" strips of orange construction paper. Invite each child to create a jack-o'-lantern face in the center of an orange strip using markers or crayons. Roll the finished strip into a loop and staple the ends together. If desired, have each child create more than one jack-o-loop. Then place the jack-o-loops side by side so that both faces are toward you. Thread a paper strip through the two jack-o-loops and staple the ends of the strip together. Continue until all the jack-o-loops are connected.
